I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and if you are a music junkie like me you know that today is new music Tuesday. This week I am going to feature new cd releases from: Colbie Caillat, Adriana Lucia, Molotov and Noel Torres. All of these artist are super talented and sing amazing.
Pop singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat released a surprise EP titled “Gypsy Heart Side A.” The five track EP which includes her hit single “Try” is an amazing album. Caillat co-wrote “Try” with R&B music mogul Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. The empowering message that the singer wants to convey with this album is that, “You don’t have to try so hard.” If you like a guy and he does not like you back don’t try so hard it’s his loss not yours.
The next featured album this week is Adriana Lucia a well recognized columbian artist who has received many important award nominations. Her new album “Porro” features the best latin rhythms from Colombia. Her latest single “Cendro” was featured in Itunes as the latin single of the week. The fifteen song album will definitely make you sing and dance all night long.
Molotov is back in the music scene once again with “Agua Maldita.” The guys in this new album want to return to their humble beginnings. The four-time Latin Grammy Award-winning band enjoys being bilingual and singing in both languages. The guys also like to sing about political issues affecting their native county Mexico.
Regional Mexican singer Noel Torres released today his latest album titled “La Balanza.” The album also includes “Me Interesas y Para Que Tantos Besos,” his latest number one hits. Noel is one of the most prominent Regional Mexican singers that have emerged in recent years. He sings from the heart and has catchy rhythms in all his songs. If you are looking for some good Regional Mexican music this is definitely the album you need to be listening to.
