I finally got a chance to go see “Instructions Not Included” directed by Eugenio Derbez and I have to say it was hilarious. I loved how the movie starts in Acapulco, Mexico. Eugenio shows that he is not leaving his mexican roots behind while breaking into the Hollywood scene. I completely laughed from beginning to end and even cried at times during the film. One of the best parts of the movie I think was when Maggie is waiting to meet her moms new partner and making ideas in her head of who that person could be. I loved how the movie touches on family issues that are not very common in traditional families. Also, I love how at the end of the movie we get to see how beautiful Acapulco really is with it’s lovely beaches and heart warming people. Mexico is a beautiful county with many great landscapes and people. The movie made me want to actually take a trip to Acapulco and see for my self the beautiful crystal clear beaches. Overall I think “Instructions not Included” is a great movie Eugenio Derbez does a great job as Vicente. Even though the movie is in Spanish with subtitles in english I highly recommend it to anybody that wants to enjoy them self and laugh away.
